I am interested in biomedical consulting projects, including writing grant proposals and technical papers. My passion is to advance innovative technologies from conception to commercialization. I understand the scientific process and have outstanding writing and project management skills. I have the ability to learn new scientific fields quickly and to work independently in dynamic, growing environments.

About
Amanda Westman Ph.D. is the founder and owner of AMW Consulting LLC, which she founded in 2024. Previously, Dr. Westman spent 8+ years in academic research environments designing and leading research projects in orthopedic and plastic surgery. Her scientific expertise includes animal studies and surgical procedures, histological and mechanical analysis, and computational modeling. She is a member of the American Medical Writers Association. A native of the Boston area, she holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
